  Taka Konishi & Ian Smith Jazz Piano Trio presents jazz and light music concert in Novi on June 17, Sunday. This is the third concert after successful debut performance in Windsor, Canada in 2009 and in Novi in 2010. 　 　
  Taka Konishi in clooaboration with Ian Smith Jazz Piano Trio presents jazz and light music concert We will perform popular cross-over music composed by Claude Bolling (1930- ), a renowned French jazz pianist, composer, arranger, and occasional actor. His Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio with Jean-Pierre Rampal, a charming mix of Baroque elegance with modern swing, has been a top seller for many years, and was particularly popular in the United States, and it was at the top of the hit parade for two years after its release in 1975. Cross-over music by English composers, Mike Mower and Ian Clark, will be presented as well.







　
• We are going to present music for commemorisation of Mr.Steve Meyers, a friend of both Mr. Konishi and Mr.Smith, who passed away this year: World Premiere of Mr. Smith's composition after Mr. Meyers and flute solo "Mei" compsed by Kazuo Fukushima.
